GREAT ORGAN (West End, 3/39, 1977)
39 registers, 56-note manuals, 30-note straight, non-radiating pedalboard. 
Suspended mechanical key action and mechanical stop action. Single-fold 
bellows; choice of traditional or steadied wind supply (schwimmers on sliders 
under all three windchests). Wind pressure 82 mm. Original temperament 
unequal after Werckmeister, retuned in equal temperament at builder's 
suggestion in 1994. Adjustable pedal reed combinations activated by foot 
levers. Frame and panel case of solid African mahogany, gilded and finished 
with beeswax. Manuals: Grenadila naturals, boxwood sharps capped with ivory. 
Pedals: oak. Stopknobs: turned mahogany.
