2013-02-22 - Updated through online information from Rev. Dennis A. Steckley. -- I stopped by the church and played this organ this morning. I'm told it has not been in regular use for about five years due to lack of organist and declining congregation. It's a small two -manual instrument, apparently unified. It sounded nice and in tune. However, due to an unknown problem ALL stops and couplers are ON at all times so it plays only at full bore. It sounded as if there were some small air leaks in the organ chamber. I understand some work was done to the organ within the last decade or so to bring it up to playing condition, but it is in need of servicing now. Facade pipes have been painted a soft yellow color, but the instrument is essentially unaltered. -Database Manager
2013-09-05 - Updated through online information from Dennis Steckley. -- The organ is better than I earlier reported. The tutti pedal was on and I didn't realize that when I first reported. All stops function fine except for a stopped flute on the great that has a very loud hiss of air leakage. I believe this organ is tubular pneumatic and there may be a problem with the ventil controlling this rank. -Database Manager
