Upon examination the instrument was found to be in relatively good condition. It is planned that it will be relocated to Cross and Resurrection Lutheran Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan -Roman Lizak
2021-03-23 - Email correspondence with Irv Lawless: The organ (Möller opus 11180) you are dealing with is a "Series 70-5" This series is an outgrowth of the original "Artiste" which started in the late 1930's. The Series 70's went from 70-2 to 70-12 depending on how many ranks were installed. Your organ has 5 ranks. These organs were pre-engineered and pre pipe scaled to help cost down in the small organs. As they grew, you could add: 8' Gemshorn Celeste 49 pipes (t.c.) III-IV Mixture 4' Octave on Great II Sesqui Altera 8' Krummhorn on the Great 16' Principal in the Pedal (12 pipe extension 16' Contra Trompette in the Pedal (12 pipe extension of Swell Trompette) Anything beyond that was priced on the "custom" pricing. There was also an option of a drawknob console available. These were sturdy little organs that were designed to last indefinitely. Many from the 30's -40's- 50's and 60's are still playing today. The Series 80's followed until 1992 at the closing of Möller. -Roman Lizak
2021-04-26 - Organ was removed on April 24th, 2021 and was transported to Cross and Resurrection Lutheran Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan where it will be reinstalled in 2024. -Roman Lizak
