2024-05-15 - A double artiste. Notice posted by the organist on Facebook 2024-05-15: Long story short: due to many factors, the church voted to replace the pipe organ with a digital. The existing organ is a 1975 Double Artiste, II/13. The organ is fully operational, barely. Electro-pneumatic. It is in need of re-leathering, wiring upgrade to code, cleaning, etc. The church wants to keep the visible pipes, but wants to offer the rest of the organ, all that is within the chambers, including the chimes, as well as the console, to anyone willing to come get it. It does have a new electric swell shades motor. They need the old organ out by end of June… -Paul
2024-05-19 - Updated through online information from Shawn P. Keith: Photos of the instrument posted online 05/15/2024 show the 16' Trompette as 1/2 length for 18 notes, not 6 as stated. -Jim Stettner
