Installed in an alcove on the left side of the chancel, this organ is completely as Hinners left it,
with the exception of the addition of a blower; even the stencilling (in the traditional Hinners
colors) has survived intact. In the late 1970's, the organ received a renovation by J. C. Taylor,
which consisted largely of replacing leather nuts and removing a rodent civilization from the
pallet box. The bottom 5 pipes of the Open are stopped wood, as is the Pedal Bourdon, and the
Lieblich Gedackt. The rest of the pipes are either spolted metal or zinc. The wind pressure is a
little over 2". The Lieblich and strings are in a swell box, while the Open Diapason and Bourdon
are unenclosed.
