2023-04-21 - Adrian Van Sinderen (1887-1963) was a wealthy stockbroker whose wife later inherited $15 million ($228 million in 2022 money); he was also National President of the American Horse Shows Association; he was an organist; the large colonial-revival style home and estate were donated to the Devereux Foundation upon Mrs. Van Sinderen's death in 1968. It became "a school where children with special behavioral and learning needs could develop their potential." -Jeff Scofield
