2007-10-18 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Installation (1899) of used 1852 Geo. Stevens & Co. organ from Central Congregational, Bangor, Maine in the Christian Church, Woodstock, Vermont. The Christian Church Society gave the building and its property to the Masonic Fraternity in 1949, and the former church became Masonic Hall. Removed 1963 by A. David Moore, N. Pomfret, Vermont. Rebuilt and enlarged for Zion Lutheran in Iowa City, Iowa. -Database Manager

2013-11-09 - Updated through online information from Tim Meier. -- "The new organ for the Christian church is being set up this week and may be used at tomorrow's services. The instrument is 19 feet in height, 13 feet wide and 11 feet deep; has two manuals, 32 stops and 1221 pipes." (Spirit of the Age, page 3, 6/24/99) "In the year 1928, an electric blower was installed on the organ at a cost of some $400, thereby eliminating the old hand-pumped mechanism."
