2012-07-19 - Updated through online information from Carl S Zimmerman. -- This organ was built in 1950 for Thayer Museum, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, as Opus 17, with 9 ranks incorporating a 2-rank Wicks of unknown vintage. McManis enlarged it to 18 ranks in 1954. From its original location, it was moved to the back stage of Frazier Hall at KU, and later to the campus radio station (KFKU). In 1970 it was given to its present owner (NW Mo State Univ in Maryville MO). -Database Manager
