Notes

2007-10-22 - Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. -Database Manager

2012-01-30 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- The original First Church of Christ Scientist building (1926) was sold to St. George Orthodox Church in 1975. The organ at that time was a Hillgreen & Lane which may have been a rebuild of the Estry. -Database Manager

2012-02-24 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- According to the "The Estey Organ, A Virtual Museum" website, the organ was revised by Estey in 1954, adding a three-rank String division and making changes to the other divisions. (Estey website accessed Feb 23, 2012) When I inspected the console in 1975, there was no String division, and the console was labeled Hillgreen and Lane, this may have been a replacement console only. -Database Manager

2014-06-09 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Organ was moved to church's new location, 915 N Ferncreek Ave in the mid 1970's. -Database Manager
