2016-08-22 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner.
I had an email from Jack Heiny (son of the original buyer/owner) of Merrillville, Indiana on Wednesday March 1, 2006. In it Mr. Heiny wrote:

"We had an Estey Organ #2845 listed on Ebay for sale some weeks ago which did not sell and I am getting my notes together to relist it but in going through the questions during the previous listing I can see a few that sound more interested than others. This Organ was in my home from installation in 1929 until we sold our home in 1942. At that time the Organ was professionally dismantled and packed (pipes in wooden crates). It has been in storage all that time but just recently the Mayflower moving and storage in Hammond, In. went bankrupt and we had to get the Organ out before the Auction.

"Anyway, I have this beautiful console and 9 crates of pipes to sell." The organ had been listed for $3,500.00. The manifest listing what was in each crate had been lost, and most inquiries wanted to know the contents of each crate. Mr. Heiny also indicated that it was his mother who played, and his father who had it built as a gift for her. -Database Manager
