2020-12-22 - The Sylvester Oil Company had corporate headquarters in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., but the location of its New York City office has not been determined. Sylvester Oil was a subsidiary of the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey. The Estey Organ Company's Op. 2853 was a "Minuette" model that had four unified ranks on 8" wind pressure, plus a 37-note harp and five chime notes. The Minuette was contained in a circular-type piano case of two-tone American walnut and included a piano-type bench. -Paul R. Marchesano
