2021-09-12 - The church was built in 1892, replacing the original building from 1822. At some point in the mid-nineteenth century, the church obtained a 5-stop Jardine chamber organ built ca. 1845 for the Duane mansion in Duanesburg, 37 miles east, which was later moved from the old church into the new. This organ was sold or given to the Middlefield Center Presbyterian Church in 1929 (27 miles to the north), when the new Estey electro-pneumatic organ was installed. Sadly, a victim of declining membership, this church closed in 2020. -Scot Huntington
