2007-10-27 - Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. -Database Manager

2014-11-29 - Updated through online information from John McCraney. -- This organ was dedicated by Dr.Betty Louise Lumby, FAGO. Circa 1980s it was sold and most of the pipes were incorporated into a much larger new instrument built by Ontko and Young for First Scots Presbyterian Church, Charleston, South Carolina. In the extensive booklet that is included with a CD, the Estey is referred to as a "Steinmeyer" Estey. -Database Manager

2015-08-13 - Updated through online information from John McCraney. -- The stoplist indicates Geigen [Diapason] 8' on the Swell division, starred, as are some other stops, to indicate console knobs and preparation, but no pipes.

The late Gregory Pearce (photograph at the console in the dedication brochure/program on the Estey Pipe Organ Opus List), recounted to me a few years before his death that a donor had given money and that the Swell Geigen 8 had been installed. I can verify this because I played the organ after this stop had been installed.

Mr. Pearce was organist of Eastminster from its construction almost until his death more than two decades later. -Database Manager

2019-05-12 - Replaced in 1988 by W. Zimmer 3/42 Op. 382. -Database Manager
