2007-10-29 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- According to the church history on the parish website, the church building was begun in the 1890s. The foundation and cornerstone were set, but there were insufficient funds to proceed with building. The cornerstone was stolen before the building was completed in 1902. The church closed after WWI and was leased to the Seventh-day Adventists. It was re-opened in 1930s. This is when the first pipe organ was installed. It was played by the Vicar, Rev. Eric Greenwood in its early days. -Database Manager
