Notes

2007-10-30 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the moving, reinstallation, and augmenting of the existing 2/4 Moller from First Methodist. Rockwood was formed from the merger of First Methodist (M.E. Church, South) and Kingston Ave. Methodist (M.E. Church) after Kingston Ave. Methodist burned on Dec. 20, 1960, and the First Methodist Church invited them to worship. As reinstalled, the organ now features exposed Principal, Mixture, and capped metal pipes. -Database Manager

2009-09-22 - Updated through on-line information from William Dunklin. -- Console is Möller opus 7425, with four general combination action pistons in the Swell keyslip. There is no cancel piston. -Database Manager

2011-10-26 - Updated through online information from William Dunklin. -- Great cantilever D.E. chest (holding 4' Octave, 2' Fifteenth, II Mixture and 12 notes of the 8' Open Diapason) was damaged by roof leak. New OSI EP chest installed October 2011. -Database Manager

Swell to Great

Swell shade action is Möller individual pneumatics.
All chests electro-mechanical. The original Moller chests were changed
to electro-mechanical by Joe Lee.

The Great plays through a "switched common" electronic relay designed
and built by Joe Lee. The Pedal and Swell are switched in the console
using the original Möller pneumatic components.

Please note this clarification: there are 3 ranks of strings in the
Swell chamber, but only one of those plays from the Swell manual.
