Notes

2007-11-14 - Identified through online information from Stephen Hall. -- New organ containing vintage pipes from two other instruments. Organ supplements larger original 1929 Austin organ in the rear gallery, provides music for smaller services where the congregation is gathered near the chancel. Both organs are in regular use for services (2007). -Database Manager

2008-09-29 - Updated through information in The Windline (Austin publication), Summer 2008: "The existing organ was installed when the church was built, back in the 1920's, when organs were completed almost as easily as ordering a new kitchen sink. ... Pipework for this organ combined new with old: Some existing ranks from Austin 1747, (an early demonstration organ, transplanted to a residence, then a church,) along with some pipes from an older M.P. Moller organ that the church obtained several years ago, and a clarinet & oboe from a Midmer Losh, removed from a church in New York combined with some new pipework, built and voiced in the re-organized Austin pipe-ship: a new Nazard, Principal, Diapason, to name a few." -Database Manager

2020-07-17 - Please change the places where this organ is listed as 11 ranks to 12 ranks. I checked it carefully, and it is really 12 ranks plus extensions. Perhaps the pedal Open Diapason was omitted before, but the pedal unit of Open Diapason 8 and 4 is a separate rank from the Great Open Diapason. -William L Degan

NOTES
The couplers from the gallery organ row of stops are used, BUT the Gt/Gt 16, Gt U
Off, and Gt/Gt 4 are not wired for the chancel organ. The three Sw/Gt couplers do
work. All three swell couplers in the gallery row work.

Swell pedals on both consoles operate both swell boxes together. Default is closed
position.
