Notes

2007-11-17 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Neither the exact nature of this organ nor the sequence of its existence are precisely known. It is an amalgamation of the 1911 Estey (Op. 916) originally built for the Oregon Institute for the Blind; and the 1924 Aeolian (Op. 1547) originally built for the Thomas A. Liveley residence in Salem. It is believed that one of the two organs was already installed in the Fawk residence - likely by Fawk himself. The exact nature of the 1953 Balcom and Vaughan work is undocumented. The Master Opus List merely says "3-26 with additions; much larger now." -Database Manager

2012-10-30 - Updated through online information from Lanny Hochhalter. -- I inspected the remains of this instrument in 2007. The organ suffered from extensive flooding, water damage and mold. Windchests were damaged beyond salvage. Some pipework was salvaged by others. -Database Manager
