Notes

2007-11-20 - Rebuilt and enlarged by Nichols & Simpson in 1990. E-mail from Tim Bovard: "It was indeed a 1953 White Moller. Since 1990, those Moller craftsmen would still think they recognized some of their pipes, until they looked closely and realized that they have been severely revoiced/rescaled, and in most cases are now living in different divisions of the instrument than they might have originally. A few bits of the Möller mechanism survive (rebuilt), including the original (not rebuilt!) enormous combination machines in the basement, which I think had already been out of service for years before the organ was actually replaced." -Database Manager

GENERAL: It is requested that the organ be designed and supervised by Mr.
Ernest White, including the finishing in the church. The intent is to keep the
pipe cut-up generally low, with a reasonable amount of chiff in the tonal
attack and well-developed harmonic content.
