2007-11-25 - Identified through online information from Mark Funk. -- The chambers are in the left, center and right facing the organist. The console is center of chancel. Original organist tells story of how it was installed incorrectly. In that the swell chambers should be on the right side and the choir on the left. This adds up for if they were installed as designed you would pull draw knobs on the same side of the console as should be the chambers with those pipes. As it is now, you draw the swell stops on the left and they speak on the right. -Database Manager
2011-04-17 - The organ has had a number of changes over the years from various companies. Work has included pipe additions, replacements, and revoicing. The reeds were also rebuilt or reburnished, and digital 32' Pedal stops were added. The console is solid state. (Information from the church website.) -Database Manager

2016-12-17 - Updated through online information from Mark Funk. <br>May 2015---Through Goulding and Wood---Console dismantled, certain ranks taken with Goulding and Wood. Goulding and Wood revoiced several ranks and built a new console. The original relays from console to chambers were dying, notes not playing, etc. The church went without a usable organ from May 2015 to about October 2015. The new console added a playback feature; it too is 4 Manuals like the original. Digital connections from console to chambers via CAT 5 Cables. There was some stop rearrangement. This renovation speaks of the congregation's love for the organ, as it was a major capital fund drive to do this. The new console adds piston sequencers, and of course the playback feature which is phenomenal. -Database Manager
2021-12-23 - December 2021--Information on site, leads you to believe it is still at 71 ranks. It is now currently at 73 ranks and has been so since about the year 2000. A hooded trumpet in honor of Bill Renneckar was added in 1992. Bill Renneckar was the organist who made this instrument happen. The hooded trumpet is floating, accessible even in pedal. Its true home is the Echo, 4th manual. Circa 2000---A wonderful large Harmonic Flute was added to the Great. It is unwritten and not really mentioned but in honor of Dr. Gumper. Dr. Gumper travelled with Bill Renneckar to visit other organs as they were researching various organs to see what they wanted with a new organ, this would be circa 1960. WIth COVID shutdown and sanctuary renovation---there was time to put in new screens for the organ up front. There was the original screen from 1963 to 1992. In 1992 new lighter screen was added and chamber lights that can be used on Sundays. Then in late 2021, screens were replaced again. -Mark Funk
