2010-08-08 - Updated through online information from Robert Edmunds. -- The console for the Smoot Theatre organ is located in the Smoot Theatre in Parkersburg, WV. Most of the pipework is currently owned by the Huntington Theater Organ Project, Huntington, WV. The organ originally had 13 ranks, one rank has been refurbished and is installed as an addition to a Kilgen Organ at Second Presbyterian Church. The Tibia, Clarabella, Doppelflute, Diapason, strings (4 ranks) and Vox Humana are in Huntington. The Trumpet rank is in Lexington, KY. A partial chest (3 ranks) which was evidently cut down from a 7 rank unit chest is in Huntington. The relay and the remaining chest work probably have been destroyed by now. The pipework was purchased by the Huntington group in 2004. -Database Manager
