2013-05-30 - Updated through online information from steven bartley. -- In the early 2000's the pipes of this organ were placed in trays, in the chamber, to clear a space for electronic organ speakers, and the console removed and destroyed. At the time the organ played but was in poor condition. Opus 5278 included the chests and pipes of opus 1844. Opus 1844, which had been in an older building on the same site. Opus 1844 contained pipes from a late 19th century organ. Opus 5278 had only one tonal addition a 12 note 16' octave extension to the Trumpet, which played in the pedal. The church was closed in 2013, the building has been put up for sale. The organ is said to be sold for parts. -Database Manager
