2019-04-17 - Updated by James R. Stettner, who gave this as the source of the information: I made inquiry of the Methodist Conference; and the pursued contacting the present owner of the building..

The congregation dwindled and the building was sold some years ago. The regional United Methodist Conference had no further information. I called the Village of Watkins Glen and the Village Office was able to give me the current owner and contact number. A call to Freedom Village USA provided confirmation that the organ is extant and operable. They are now preparing to sell the property, and would sell the organ as a separate item. -Database Manager
2023-03-18 - I played this organ for a few years until I moved to Florida in 2009. The organ was serviced by David Peckham of Elmira, NY. The Great and Swell chambers were in the front of the sanctuary and an Echo chamber in the back. The sanctuary did not have a lot of carpeting or upholstery to absorb the sound. The plaster, wood, and tile gave the sanctuary a very live sound. To my knowledge the organ has not been played regularly since I left in 2009. For any current information on the organ you may reach David Peckham in Elmira, New York. -Karen Jones
