Notes

2007-12-06 - Identified from factory documents and publications courtesy of Stephen Schnurr. -Database Manager

2023-02-14 - By the mid 1990's three long-standing churches in West Philadelphia had difficulty being self-supporting so two of those churches: Ninth Presbyterian ( 57th and Washington Ave), and Westminster Presbyterian (58th and Chester Ave) merged and became New Spirit Presbyterian Church housed in the Westminster building. In April 1997 I inspected the organ. The Echo division was not playable due to water damage. A reservoir was blown in the Swell division causing pressure drop and speach and tuning issues. The console had numerous combination action problems, including a General Cancel button with broken spring which intermittently canceled stops on its own. The organ case/facade is likely from the previous Moller installataion. The facility is permanently closed. Disposition of the organ is unknown. -Paul R. Marchesano
