Stettner, who gave this as the source of the information: I found information about the closure in doing a Google search and reading captions of photos of the vacant building.<br> The church was closed and the building was abandoned for some time. It is now the Beloved Community Christian Church of God in Christ. I have also seen the name Greater Mt. Vernon Baptist Church affiliated with the building. The disposition of the organ is not known. -Database Manager
