2013-06-13 - Updated through online information from John Lanier. -- This instrument (located in the chapel of the funeral home) was removed in 1987 when the building was turned into a resturant. The developer had the pipes, windchest, console and blower mechanism taken to a landfill. It had a type of "concussion" bellows that allowed one rank of pipes to be played at either 4' or 2' pitch. The console, in an adjoining room, was severely damaged by a broken steam pipe nearby. the entire instrument was under expression. <br>Larry Hawkins, who inspected the instrument before its removal, stated that the pipes(Diapason 8'; Stopped Diapason 8'; Salicional 8'; Dulciana 8'4'(the last three ranks extending to 4' and 2' and the Stopped Diapason extending to a Bourdon 16') were in good shape, as well as the wind chests. -Database Manager
