2008-01-31 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ was originally installed in the Liberty Theatre in Portland, Oregon as a Style 4X (divided). But when it proved to be too small, it was moved to Yakima's Liberty Theatre - both owned by Jenson & Von Herberg. A Tibia - absent from the original installation - was installed when the organ was relocated to Yakima, utilizing the Tremolo tabs on the back rail. When the theatre was renovated in 1954, the organ was made available and was acquired by Langevin. It was initially trucked to his warehouse for rebuilding, and then installed in his refurbished garage. Later still, it was finally installed in a prepared space inside the house. Other ranks and some Temple Bells were added. In 1965, the organ went to Ken Hodgins of Vancouver, B.C., Canada. -Database Manager
