Notes

2008-02-05 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ - a 2/4, Style "B" - was originally built for the Egyptian Theatre in Maywood, CA. It was installed "as is" here in Anacortes by Balcom and Vaughan in 1937. At an undesignated later date, it was relocated by B and V to Finlay's Morninglight Chapel in Portland, OR and enlarged to 2/5. In 1961, it was installed by B and V in the Seattle residence of Stan Smith at a cost of $3,796.00. And ultimately, it was acquired by Russ and Jo Ann Evans of Kenmore, WA and incorporated into their 3/17 home instrument. -Database Manager
