2021-02-11 - The contract for No. 6542 was signed on 17 March 1937. It is a complete mechanical rebuilding of No. 1848 of 1915. In addition to modernization of the console, chests, shade actions, and tremulantx, all reed tongues of existing reeds were replaced and everything was revoked. In the Great, the 16' Double Open Diapason was replaced with Grave Mixture II, and the Doppel Flute was replaced by an 8' Gemshorn. In the Swell, the Aeoline was replaced by a Dolce Cornet III. A Pedal 16' Tuba extension from the Great was also provided. The contract price for the rebuilding was $3,150.00. -- Information from Sebastian Gluck via Facebook. -Paul R. Marchesano
