2022-04-07 - Update on the organ at Moffett Memorial Baptist Church in Danville, VA. from 1946. That Moller organ was destroyed in the early 1970s by a fire. I was on the church staff and therefore oversaw the design of the new pipe organ, also a Moller. The fire was caused by lightning and totally destroyed the sanctuary. The 1946 organ was a replacement for another Moller that dated from the early nineteen hundreds, around 1912. -Paul Bowen
