2010-01-28 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ was a memorial gift. It is housed in side-by-side chambers in the rear gallery with a quarter-sawn oak case front comprised of three flats and two towers of gold dummy pipes arranged: 5-7-5-7-5 and each section separated by an ornamental wooden lattice grille. The Great and Choir occupy the left chamber, but share no common pipework. The Swell and Pedal occupy the right chamber. The drawknob console is placed centered in front of the facade with the organist facing the casework. -Database Manager
2010-02-04 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- In 2005, Tacoma organ technician Don Wallin added a 2-manual console located at the front of the church on the right. The Moller is playable from this console so that the choir/musicians can be down front. -Database Manager

ACTION: E-P Pitman & Unit VOICES: 12 STOPS: 27 RANKS: 12 PIPES: 907 NOTES The organ is housed in the rear gallery in a free-standing “case” consisting of two, side-by-side chambers with a quarter-sawn oak façade-and-grille front. The façade portion consists of three flats and two towers of gold dummy pipes - each separated by a wooden lattice grille. There are 29 pipes in total arranged: 5-7-5-7-5. While the Great and Choir share the same chamber, there is no pipework shared between them. The Pedal 16 Bourdon / 8 Major Flute unit is housed along the back wall of the Swell. The Swell Stopped Flute, Choir Dulciana, and Pedal Bourdon are the only unified registers. Other duplexing like the Choir Clarabella (8/4), the Great Harmonic Flute (8/4), and the Great Gemshorn (8/4) is achieved with standard Moller shifters. The pipes for the top octave of the Great 4’ Octave, Great 4’ Flute, Great 4’ Gemshorn, Swell 2’ Flautino, and Choir 2’ Dulcet all break back an octave in pitch beginning at f# 55 for the top 7 notes. The Great 8 Harmonic Flute becomes harmonic at note g 32. The Swell 8’ Trumpet has 54 reed pipes. At an unidentified later date, an electronically amplified Maas-Rowe Carillon was added to the organ. The tone generation module is in the Swell, but the speakers are in the Great. It plays from the Great manual via a volume selector switch, and is also optionally available to be amplified outside thru speakers in the tower. The compass is 25 notes from tenor F thru f 42.
