Notes

2008-04-11 - Identified from factory documents and publications courtesy of Stephen Schnurr. -Database Manager

2022-01-25 - from Karl Moyer, who has played the organ: "I found some routine post-war Möller sounds, etc, but also several items unusual to me, especially a separate rank for the 2 2/3’ and 2’ diapason stops on the Great on an organ which routinely extends 8' stops to 4’ pitches. I assume that the designer expected the organist to use the super-coupler a fair bit, for this separate rank is somewhat bright but quite a bit more “gentle” than the 8’ Diapason stop and its 4’ Octave extension, which is mildly aggressive in timbre. The Swell is less unusual, though the nomenclature for the 2 2/3 flute stop is unusual in my experience." -Paul R. Marchesano

2022-01-26 - "The church began as a congregation of the Evangelical Church, as it was properly known. That denominational body united with the former United Brethren in Christ denomination in 1946 to become the Evangelical United Brethren Church. In 1968, that body in turn united with the Methodist Episcopal Church to form the United Methodist Church, which, unlike most denominations present in USA, is an international church body with many congregations and members in Africa, among other places." -- Karl Moyer -Paul R. Marchesano
