2012-06-22 - Updated through online information from Randall S. Dyer. -- This organ was removed by Kenneth Hale, local piano tuner in Morristown, at the time the new building was built, and the old building demolished. It was later bought by Randall Dyer & Assoc., and incorporated as part of an organ for Trinity United Methodist Church, Knoxville, Tennessee, about 1981, using the old windchests, some of the old pipes, with several ranks of new pipes. A new console case was constructed to enclose the existing action, and Mr. Hale recovered the keys at that time. -Database Manager
