Notes

2008-05-09 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The Wicks replaced an 1879 Pilcher tracker. The organ was installed in a single central chamber at the rear of the church in the gallery. The chamber was fronted with a large, somewhat ornate, wooden grille having several over-length, string-scale, dummy gold-painted facade pipes in its center. Both Great and Swell were under common expression. Both manual divisions had registers unique to them, but also shared registers between them. There was no independent pedal. An 8' Trumpet was added in the 1970s. The organ was destroyed by fire on May 25, 2003. -Database Manager
