2017-05-05 - Updated by Steve Bartley, the builder.
The organ & choir sit in the left transept, a late 19th century addition to an 18th century building.
In the early 2,000 David M. Storey Inc. was contracted to rebuild the organ, including releathering of existing wind chests, installing a new unit chest to hold a Gt Twelfth stop and Pommer. The console was renovated, at that time. When the DMS Inc. arrived, the 8 Spitz Principal was not part of the organ, nor was there any wind chest space for it.
At that time, the church was without a musician and all church oversight and negotiations were handled by a non organ-literate party, hence no 8 Diapason was installed on the Great.
The case-work front is the remains of a mid 19th century Pomplitz organ, including the Pomplitz facade pipes, which are non functioning. -Database Manager
