Notes

2008-05-21 - Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
Replaced 1903 two manual Hook & Hastings, #1987; extant; unaltered. -Database Manager

2013-10-28 - Updated through online information from Carl Shonk. -- Just returned from a concert at this Church. This organ is original, in regular use and well cared for. From a local newspaper article "The wind pressure regulators are something that need a lot of attention right now and the leathers have to be replaced, but he's not planning on using synthetic leather, it's going to be the real thing. He wants this organ to be as much in original condition as possible, because it is right now - nothing has been changed over the years. A lot of times organists will come in and say, "I want to add this rank of pipes or that rank, or I don't like the sound of that",- and they mess around with it, but this organ is an original. Really the only thing that's been added - and that was at my request - was the Zimbelstern. This happened quite a few years ago, probably in the early 90's. http://www.tuscolatoday.com/index.php/2013/10/25/organ-concert-planned-for-sunday/ -Database Manager

2022-04-15 - The Aeolian-Skinner is installed behind the facade of the church's previous 1903 Hook & Hastings. -Jim Stettner
