2008-06-12 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Rededicated June 7, 2008 by university organist Thomas Weisflog. (article in the "Chicago Tribune" dated June 9, 2008). Main organ is in side chamber near the chancel. There is a second two-manual console to control the rear gallery divisions. -Database Manager

2010-04-18 - Updated through online information from Chad Boorsma. -- The Chancel Organ was restored to its original specification with some judicious additions that were informed by other of Skinner's academic installations. Existing windchests, mechanism, and expression shutters were all refurbished, and pipes that had been discarded over the years were in some cases relocated. Where pipes were missing, replicas were carefully built with sensitivity to historic style. The Gallery Organ's windchests, mechanism, and expression are all new. In both organs, existing pipework was cleaned and restored to like-new condition. The organ chambers were completely updated and a new nave tone opening was constructed for the Chancel Organ (from Schantz website). -Database Manager
