2024-01-09 - Op. 8391 was shipped as a six-months loaner to Rivermont Baptist Church on July 26, 1951, pending installation of their own 3-manual Moller; 8391 was returned to the factory on May 13, 1952; on July 17, 1952, it was shipped 'on consignment' to St. James Episcopal Church, New London, Connecticut; it was sold to Poquonock Community Church on December 8, 1952 and installed there two days later. Due to its very limited use, it was sold as a new organ and a new builder plate was made showing 1952 instead of 1951; Moller rebuilt the organ in 1981, adding three new stops and a new console. -Jeff Scofield
