2020-10-14 - Identified by James R. Stettner from the Balcom and Vaughan Master opus list. According to the Judd Walton opus list, the organ was originally shipped in August, 1921 to the San Francisco Wurlitzer store/warehouse. It was a Style 170. According to the PSTOS website, *"In 1922, the organ was sold to the Ellensburg Theatre in Ellensburg, Washington. In 1938, it was moved to Seattle's Playland Amusement Park Skating Rink. According to Ray Whelpley, Balcom & Vaughan moved the organ in 1956 to Everett's Rollerfair Rink and a three-manual console was added. This disagrees with the Balcom & Vaughan opus lists which shows a two-manual instrument moved in 1943."* According to the Balcom and Vaughan opus list, the organ was sold in 1965 to Ray Whelpley. -Jim Stettner
