The 'Pedal division' is the bottom 12 notes of the manual. When either of the two Pedal stops is on, they will only play on those 12 notes with whatever registration has been set for the manual. The Pedl Only turns off the manul stops for the bottom 12 notes, and only allows whatever Pedal stops are on to play. The stops are activated by finger pistons located above the top manual.
