2011-09-18 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Central Presbyterian merged with St Phillip's Presbyterian some time after 2000. The organ was sold to the University of Texas at Austin. The organ was removed circa 2010 by Robert Coulter, to be installed in Jessen Auditorium, Butler School of Music, University of Texas at Austin. Coulter is releathering the chests and updating the console and wiring to solid-state electrical switching, but intends to keep the voicing as left by Roy Perry, who finished the organ. -Database Manager
2018-09-03 - The church was quite attractive for a church of the early 1960's - a very creative design and a large spectacular window at the rear of the high nave; the choir and console were in an elevated loft above and behind the altar; the organ was functionally displayed on a level above that - all behind a very open floor-to-ceiling reredos; the church was demolished in September 2011. -Database Manager
