Notes

2008-06-30 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ had as its origins, the 1922 WurliTzer, Opus 568 - a 260SP originally built for the Elmwood Theatre in Buffalo, NY. It was in two different subsequent residences (Detroit and Salt Lake City) before arriving at the Koons residence in 1971. The divisions were Solo, Great, Great (East Room), Accompaniment, and Pedal. The East Room Great division had pipes from other undocumented sources: a Barton Tibia, a Welte Tibia, a Morton Viol, a WurliTzer band organ, and a III Mixture! Ultimate disposition of the organ is unknown. Source: F. Eugene Miller files. -Database Manager
