2025-03-06 - The organ at First Baptist Church, Texarkana, TX, at once a marvelous, yet chiffy, Schlicker was destroyed by fire in early March 2020. While the instrument sustained mainly smoke and water damage (the building was not destroyed), the church decided to remove the instrument--except for the pipes in the facade and the horizontal trumpet.
