2025-04-25 - I visited this organ on 4/24/25. The building has housed Christian Churches United of the Capitol region since at least the 1980s. The Lutheran congregation closed down many years ago. The sanctuary had been used throughout the last few decades by various congregations, most recently a spanish-speaking congregation who actively worships there. The organ has not been maintained or used regularly for a very long time. While still operational and mostly playable, the mechanisms are failing, with many dead notes. The organ has some nice voices, most especially the flutes. -Scott Siciliano
