2008-07-31 - Identified through on-line information from M W Baines. -- Even though there is a date on the organ of "1850", this is suspect. The firm did not use the name "Corps and Sons" until 1865 even though James Corps was building organs as early as 1835. Organ is a 1 manual and Pedal Tracker of 5 ranks with a Pedal ext. of the Flute. A .25 HP "Discus Blower" by Watkins and Watson, London was added. No other renovations have been done. There is also a rumor that Corps and Sons employed J W Walker as an apprentice, but I have not been able to confirm this. -Database Manager
