Notes

2008-08-11 - Identified through online information from JOHN ADKINS. -- The church will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2012, and the church as well as the organ will be restored during this period, beginning in 2009. The organ is still used in our 11:00 worship service. -Database Manager

2010-05-24 - Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Also known as Lutcher Memorial Church, honoring the Lutcher family whose funds built the church and provided for ongoing projects; the Casavant replaced a Hope-Jones; when the church was built in 1912, it was one of the first air-conditioned buildings in the US and required its own power plant since insufficient electrical power was available in the town. -Database Manager
