Notes

2008-08-30 - Identified through information from Mike Salvatore, courtesy of Stephen Pinel. -- The organ was rebuilt by Morey in the teens, then rebuilt by Buhl and modified by Sidney Chase later on. I discovered the single manual and part of the case of the original Marklove case in the cellar of the church. The case had three Roman-arched bays of dummy pipes (the pipes were missing, but the depressions in the case were apparent), and the case was grain painted to resemble mahogany. At least a few ranks of the existing instrument were Marklove's and still being used. We thought the instrument was built into a corner of the balcony, there the blower currently is placed. The manual and the facade were in that same closet last I knew, which would have been about 15 years ago. -Database Manager
