2008-09-29 - Identified through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Organ built by Wicks under the direction of Henry Willis III; this was the last instrument he worked on before returning to England in 1942. Organ renovated in 2008 by Dan Garland of Fort Worth, Texas. Rededicated September 28, 2008 (article in on-line Marshall News Messenger dated Sept 27, 2008) Similar to Wicks opus 1503 (St Mary's Cathedral, Peoria, IL, built 1937) also designed by Willis. -Database Manager
