Notes

2008-11-10 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ may have been originally located at the Mission Theatre in Monteray Park, CA. The Granada Theatre converted to "talkies" not too long after opening, and the organ was no longer required. When it was removed, by whom, or where it went until the 1960s is not documented. It was ultimately acquired by Dick Raupach of Portland, OR to form the core of his 2/14 organ. It was sold in the Fall of 2001 to Tom Blackwell of Seattle. Parts that were identifiable as being from the original Morton were donated back to the Granada Theatre Foundation in anticipation of a hoped-for reinstallation.
