2008-11-10 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- There is something of a conflict regarding this entry. The Balcom and Vaughan opus list indicates that this was the reinstallation (and enlargement by 1 added rank) of the 2/4 Robert Morton from the Alta Theatre in Pendleton, OR. However, their opus list also indicates that they installed this same organ at the old edifice of the American Central Lutheran Church in Bellingham, WA in 1933, though it's only identified as Pendleton and the source isn't named. However, the organ does exist in that location, having been moved to the new (present) edifice in 1955. Source: Balcom and Vaughan opus list; PSTOS website. -Database Manager

2014-06-09 - Updated through online information from jeffrey fox. -- The Robert Morton Organ located now in Bellingham, WA was indeed originally installed in the Alta Theatre, Pendleton, OR. Inside of the fall board in the console is written "Alta Oregon." Also in the pipe chamber Alta Theatre will be found in various locations. The organ is very much playable and being used. I was organist there for many years. A Dulciana was also added in the later 1980s. Far as I know the organ was moved directly from the Alta to Bellingham. -Database Manager
