2009-04-09 - Updated through on-line information from Jeff Scofield. -- Stevens Memorial had nearly 2,300 members at its high point in 1953, at which time membership and finances started to decline; the church closed April 18, 2004, and the building became home to a Hispanic congregation, Stevens Emmanuel United Methodist Church; they moved to the suburbs and the building is now home to True Worshipers Ministry. -Database Manager
